It is the policy of Space Gateway Support to conduct
business in an environmentally responsible manner,
optimize use of resources, minimize adverse impacts
on the environment, prevent pollution and comply with
applicable regulations and requirements. Further,
it is the intent of SGS to provide environmental leadership
and become a center of environmental excellence by
exceeding customer expectations and exhibiting superior
environmental performance in all company activities.
To implement this policy SGS will:
Maintain a program to improve environmental
performance with:
- Established objectives and targets;
- An annual plan focused on performance enhancement;
and
- Meaningful environmental metrics to measure success;
Ensure that the SGS Environmental Policy
and program elements are communicated to our employees
and customers;
Continually review the status of environmental
performance with employees and customers, and establish
mutually acceptable goals for improvement; and
Fully integrate each employee into the
environmental program through education, empowerment
and acceptance of responsibility.
