We move the information that
moves the Spaceport – from the latest in security, business
and mission support data applications to U.S. Mail and
library services.
SGS Information Management protects the Spaceport's
vital national assets by upgrading and maintaining electronic
personnel access control intrusion detection systems.
We cover more than 140 software applications and over
200 servers with complete administration, configuration
control, security access, database administration, and
server backup and recovery – with over 12 million hours
of server uptime.
Our CAD-CAE provides high-end engineering services,
and our CARE Center/Help Desk staff is on-call for computer
user support with Level II backup. Software and network
monitoring, GIS development, cellular and paging services,
and multimedia and video support keep Spaceport users
in touch.
Our Web Development Team provides the public with a
window into NASA activities and our print/duplicating
facilities yield up to three million units/month. Our
KSC library acquisitions total 4,000 documents/month,
and microfilm conversions generate over 100,000 PDF
images per month. We also manage a world-class computer
graphics team that generates over 40,000 graphic units
per month. |
